‘I Can See Your Voice’ Premieres Holiday Spectacular on FOX
Reading Time: 2 minutes
I Can See Your Voice returns to FOX after a year-long hiatus. The series began its ten episode run in 2020 and was announced to have another season soon after. Now, the series has announced a holiday special airing on tonight at 8 p.m. ET. You will be able to watch this special on FOX’s network as well as Hulu and Tubi.
For those who might be tuning in for the first time, this game show is quite simple to understand. Judges are presented with a group of six “secret singers” who are identified by only their occupation. One contestant will have the chance to win $100,000 if they’re able to identify the good and bad singers, without hearing them sing.
From the promotional trailer, fans know that the holiday special will feature a mariachi performer, a holiday 5K runner, a ballerina, and a nutcracker. The celebrity panelists for this special include singer-songwriter Debbie Gibson, comedian/actress Nicole Byer, former American Idol judge Paula Abdul, actress Cheryl Hines, and The Real talk show co-host Adrienne Houghton. The Masked Singer panelist Ken Jeong will serve as the host for this special.
I Can See Your Voice Season Will Launch Season Two in Early 2022
The holiday special is a great precursor to the great season that’s up and coming in the new year. On top of sharing news about this premiere, FOX announced that the next season of this series will premiere on Wednesday, January 5 at 8 p.m. ET.
Season two of the show brings along new formatting to game play. Each upcoming episode will feature a “golden mic” celebrity, which works in a ‘phone a friend’ type of format. If a contestant is stuck they can call that celebrity and get their opinion without having to hear the opinions of the rest of the panel. The prize has also increased. Instead of winning $10,000 each round, the contestants will be able to win $15,000.
