Howie Mandel vs Terry Crews: The Most-Liked Instagram Post Battle of Eggheads

A brief background: Earlier this month, an Instagram account called @world_record_egg was created; its only post featuring nothing but a single speckled egg. The goal being to break the world record for most Instagram likes on a single photo, which was recently reached and now has over double the likes of the previous record (approximately 18 million; the egg post currently sits at about 37.5 million).
Longtime AGT judge Howie Mandel posted a picture of the top of his head in response to the viral photo, encouraging fans to “like” it in hopes of beating the record set by the original speckled egg.
America’s Got Talent: The Champions host Terry Crews soon jumped on the bandwagon, posting a photo of his own bald head and asking fans of AGT and Brooklyn Nine Nine to give it a like in hopes of crushing the record himself.

And to top it all off, Howie later posted a mash-up of the two photos.

Right now Terry’s photo is way ahead of Howie’s with about 350,000 likes vs. about 89,000. (The mash-up has about 16,000 at the time of this posting). To be fair, Terry’s did have a pretty big head start by about a day, but both have a far cry to go from reaching the world record of 37.5 million set by the original egg post.
