After her elimination from Dancing with the Stars Season 34 last month, Hilaria Baldwin claimed she was “bullied off the show.” In a recent podcast appearance, Baldwin clarified the comment, referring to a “campaign” by fans to eliminate her.

Hilaria Baldwin Claims She Was Bullied Off DWTS

Hilaria Baldwin and her professional partner Gleb Savchenko were eliminated from DWTS Season 34 in the fourth week of the competition. Some fans of the show had argued that Baldwin’s presence in the competition was unfair, due to her past experience in ballroom dancing.

People reports that, in an Instagram Live after her elimination, Baldwin claimed she was “bullied off the show.” More recently, Baldwin appeared on the Too Much podcast, where host Emma Paige Klipstein asked her about the “bullying” she experienced.

Baldwin argued that DWTS viewers organized a “campaign” against her, explaining, “They’re gonna vote for all the couples besides me, or besides X person. So that suppresses your fan vote.”

She went on to say that fans “were reaching out to everybody to do it,” adding, “You open TikTok, you’re like, ‘Oh my God, this is like this sad.’ It hurts your feelings.” Baldwin said she was aware of this happening to other contestants “in the past.”

Baldwin Says She ‘Had the Time of My Life’

“I’ll be the person who’s crying in front of the world because I’m gonna show my humanity,” Baldwin said of her reaction to being eliminated. “Some people are gonna like that and some people are gonna make fun of me more for that.”

She went on to emphasize that she did not experience bullying from within the show itself, calling everyone involved in the production “lovely.” Baldwin added that she doesn’t want anyone to feel bad for her, explaining, “I had the time of my life. I’m only a better, happier person because I did the show.”

What do you think? Was Baldwin bullied off the show? Was it fair for her to be competing against less experienced dancers? Let us know in the comments below.
