Heidi Klum, Snoop Dogg Release New Song for ‘Germany’s Next Top Model’

Heidi Klum‘s teased collaboration has officially seen the light of day. The supermodel’s new song with Snoop Dogg is now available on Spotify, Amazon music, Apple music, YouTube music, and more. According to the teaser trailer, this song will be the new opener for Germany’s Next Top Model.
The most unpredicted collaboration ever, has officially released their first song together. Klum shared a teaser to this song last week that left fans a bit speechless. Although they showed support in the comments section, they were just as surprised as the supermodel in the fact that this collab happened.
“Chai Tea With Heidi” has an electronic tone native to Snoop Dogg’s sound. This song has a fun beat in the background interrupted by Klum’s vocals and Snoop Dogg’s raps.
“Chai Tea With Heidi” talks about love and how they hope their next love will last forever. I think this song is fun overall, but it’s not really my cup of tea (see what I did there?) I could see this being played in a club, but I don’t see it getting airtime or topping any charts.
Did Heidi Klum Just Tease a Music Video For This Song?
In addition to sharing a snippet of the song on her social media, Klum shared multiple videos that tease a music video. On her Instagram and TikTok fans can see videos of her in lingerie from the video shoot. In these posts, Klum never directly states that the music video was going to be released as well.
In a 50 second teaser posted on January 13, the end mentions the release date of Germany’s Next Topmodel. This is where the song’s origin begins to make some sense. “Chai Tea With Heidi” was likely created with the intention of being Germany’s Next Topmodel‘s season 17 opening song. I think that Klum was able to get Snoop Dogg to participate in the project from their personal relations. It’s unclear how DJ duo Wedding Cake was invited into this collaboration.
Klum and the other artists on this track did not share the music video on their YouTube. Instead, Germany’s Next Topmodel released the music video on their YouTube channel. Hours after the original release, this video already has over 18,000 views.
