In the video, Hough praised his wife for how she’s handled such a challenging couple of months, saying it has “been remarkable to witness firsthand.” He called Erbert a “miracle,” emphasizing that her recovery is “still a journey.”

Erbert shared that she has “really good days” and “really bad days.” However, she told fans that she’s doing “so much better every single day” and that “there is so much progress every day.” Erbert said she’s “so grateful for that.”

The couple got emotional as they recalled a moment in the hospital when Hough reminded Erbert that there were “so many people thinking about you.” Erbert said she could feel that love “through my body,” as well as “in my heart” and “in my soul.”

“Genuinely, I believe that it’s what’s gotten me through this a little bit faster,” Erbert shared through tears, “and it’s what helped me heal. It’s what helped me stay positive throughout the entire experience.”
