Dancing with the Stars Season 32 contestant Harry Jowsey was recently a guest on JoJo Siwa’s podcast, along with his dance partner Rylee Arnold. Some fans think Jowsey threw shade at pro Artem Chigvintsev for taking the show too seriously.
Did Harry Jowsey Shade DWTS Pro Artem Chigvintsev?
Jowsey and Arnold chatted with Siwa about their time on DWTS this season. At one point in the conversation, Siwa asked them who else from the season they would want to be paired with. Jowsey said Sasha Farber, while Arnold said Tyson Beckford.
Arnold said he was “one of the guy celebrities that was actually super, super nice to me.” Jowsey chimed in to say he “wasn’t as serious,” adding, “I think a lot of people get really lost in it, and they’re so serious about it. They never want to smile. They never want to crack a joke.”
Siwa asked who from Season 32 took things the most seriously. Jowsey brought up Chigvintsev, and Arnold agreed. Jowsey added, “Which is good. It’s his passion, it’s his craft.” Arnold brought up the fact that Chigvintsev and his partner Charity Lawson are “doing great.”

Fans Didn’t Take Kindly to the Comments
Some fans took to social media to shared their thoughts on Jowsey’s comments. One Reddit user called it “rude and inconsiderate” to seemingly criticize Chigvintsev for taking the competition seriously. They called Chigvintsev “an introverted person who takes longer to warm up to people.”
Another fan on Twitter sarcastically responded, “How dare a professional dancer take dancing and the show seriously !!! Oh no!!!” Someone else wrote, “The irony that Harry is saying this… maybe Harry should have worked a little harder and taken it more seriously not the other way around.”
