The biggest beach party and live music festival in Southern California comes back for a three-day showing of epic proportions. Leading the star-studded lineup of artists on the second day is singer, songwriter and The Voice coach Gwen Stefani.
Gwen Stefani is a Lead Performer at BeachLife Festival 2023
Stefani is slated to perform at the three-day festival honoring all things Southern California. Locals Allen Sanford and Rob Lissner launched the BeachLife Festival in 2019. Headliners from last year’s festival were Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins, and Steve Miller Band.
In addition to Stefani, the BeachLife Festival features Sugar Ray, Circle Jerks’ Xander Schloss, Social Distortion’s Jonny 2 Bags, the Airborne Toxic Event, Aly & AJ, and Sublime With Rome, who will play their 1992 album 40oz. to Freedom in its entirety.
“It’s surreal to our family that BeachLife continues to grow in the music and surf community, and we are so excited to release this lineup,” Sanford, one of the organizers said. “These artists, along with our beautiful Pacific Ocean as the backdrop, and the sand and salt in our face, will make for another unforgettable weekend at BeachLife.”
Tickets for the 2023 BeachLife Festival, including single-day and weekend passes, are currently on sale. Ticket prices range from $159 for the single day General Admission, and goes up to $1250 for the captain’s pass. Three-day tickets can range from $379 to $2999 for the most expensive ones. All tickets are available for purchase on BeachLife Festival’s official website.
Stefani Once Sustained a Career Threatening Injury
Stefani has been a staple performer in the entertainment world since the nineties, but she previously suffered an accident that threatened her career. Blake Shelton, said that his wife traveled on an airline with a head cold, and the pressure in the cabin caused her eardrum to burst.
“I mean pop. Blow your eardrum out, I don’t even know how that happens. I don’t know how it heals either. But, she says she can hear now. She’ll be all right.” Shelton said.
As the damage can cause hearing loss, ringing ears, and spinning feelings, all of which would have been problems for Stefani’s performing career, a burst eardrum would have been problematic. The injury happened back in 2017, and Stefani’s hearing has healed since then.
