‘The Four’s Ratings Go Back Up

The Four‘s ratings had seen a slump in the middle weeks of the show’s first run, but now they are ticking back up as we go into the end of the season. I can’t help but think that a lot of that has to do with Zhavia…you know, the contestant they just lost. However, I predict another good week with Zhavia’s inevitable return.
Last Thursday The Four’s ratings went up to a 1.2 share and captured the coveted 18-49 demographic that makes advertisers very happy. Overall 3.63 million people watched the episode the was advertised as Zhavia’s fight to stay in the competition, (which is exactly what it was). One of two things will happen this week: either the legions of Zhavia fans will tune out because she was eliminated or (more likely) they will tune in to see if she’s back. If she does win the #TheFourComeback thing then she will have been on every episode.
One of our commenters said that the show shouldn’t be called The Four but rather Zhavia’s rise to stardom. That may be overstating it a bit but not by much. She’s the biggest stand-out so far and she is also, without a doubt, the fan’s favorite.
