Her Emotional Journey After Vocal Surgery
The judges, including Heidi Klum, also applauded her for gaining the confidence to sing again after she admits during her pre-taped interview her journey with vocal surgery.
“I was touring, I was doing music videos. After a few years, I noticed my voice just wasn’t working with me. I finally went to an ENT and he was like ‘basically, one of your vocal cords is paralyzed, you’re going to need surgery, and there’s a chance you may never be able to sing again.’ And, it felt like the moment where it was all crashing down on me,” she said.
