Country singer Blake Shelton explained that new wife Gwen Stefani’s strong religious faith has strengthened his own. As the couple’s first anniversary approaches this summer, TheVoice coach is speaking publicly about falling in love with the pop queen.
Fans have Stefani to thank if they are loving his newer music. Shelton said the “Holla Back Girl” singer’s deep spirituality had an impact on his creativity. The singer’s 2021 Body Language album was critically acclaimed and peaked at number three on the Billboard Country Chart. Shelton’s twelfth studio album also featured Stefani.
Shelton and Stefani’s “Happy Anywhere” duet was their third time working together on music. The single described the couple’s personal relationship and how they were able to find love anywhere. Fans know that the two did not just find love anywhere, but rather on their hit show The Voice.
The married couple’s admiration for each other was on full display during this past February. The two performed their upbeat country love song during the Super Bowl Music Festival. Shelton can be seen staring deeply at Stefani as she worked the stage and he played his guitar.

The couple began dating in 2015. They sealed their love in July of 2021 when they married on Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch.
