Mentalist duo The Clairvoyants, comprised of Thommy Ten and Amélie van Tass, are set to showcase their mind-reading talents once more as one of the 40 acts selected for AGT: Fantasy League. First appearing on Season 11 of America’s Got Talent in 2016, The Clairvoyants quickly became fan favorites with their impressive displays of telepathy and psychic abilities.

Who Are The Clairvoyants?

Hailing from Vienna, Austria, Thommy, and Amélie met in 2011 and soon combined their performance backgrounds in magic and dance to create The Clairvoyants act. Blending magic, mentalism, dancing, and audience participation, their shows around the world highlight intuition and second sight.

In 2014, their careers took a major leap forward when they landed a six-month contract in America. Their performance in the show The Illusionarium led to a featured spot in The Illusionists, the largest touring magic show in the world.

In 2015, Thommy and Amélie achieved the title of World Champions of Mentalism, marking the first time in over 30 years that anyone received this prestigious honor. Their success has taken them across Europe, the UK, Australia, and of course, AGT‘s iconic stage.

In addition to their shared professional success, Thommy and Amélie also found love together. They got engaged in 2019 and married in a private ceremony at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas in 2022. Their marriage has further strengthened their bond and deepened their connection, bringing their clairvoyance to another extraordinary level.

Fantasy League is The Clairvoyant’s Third Time On An AGT Stage

The Clairvoyants first took their talents to the AGT stage in 2016 during Season 11. Their mind-blowing performances throughout the season, including their ability to read minds, predict future events, and communicate with each other without speaking, captivated audiences and judges alike. They ultimately finished as runners-up, but their popularity soared, and they gained a devoted fan base worldwide.

Their success on AGT opened doors to even greater opportunities. They appeared on NBC’s AGT: The Champions and continued to tour extensively, performing in prestigious venues across the globe. They also collected numerous awards, including the World Champions of Mentalism in 2015 and Stage Magicians of the Year from the Academy of Magical Arts and The Magic Castle Hollywood in 2017.

As Fantasy League contestants, The Clairvoyants will take another shot at AGT victory by showcasing new renditions of their signature mental magic. With even more time to prepare new illusions highlighting their extraordinary “second sight,” fans are excited for The Clairvoyants’ return on AGT: Fantasy League, premiering January 1 on NBC.
