Ed Sheeran Explains His Social Media Inactivity
“So I realized I haven’t been that engaged in my social media or my fanbase online over the past couple of years,” Sheeran said to start the video, “and the things that have been posted on this account might have gotten a bit boring. I’m sorry. It’s my fault.”
He went on to share that he’s “had some turbulent things been happening in my personal life” and “didn’t really feel like being online and pretending to be something I’m not, when I wasn’t feeling like that.”
However, Sheeran told fans that “things are looking up,” and he plans to start posting more “weird sh*t” on his account. He ended the clip by admitting, “I’ve made this video like 50 f*cking times. I’m not making another one.”
Sheeran kept his promise about posting more weird things, as he recently shared a clip with a funny filter, saying, “People keep asking me, where have I been? Where haven’t I been?”
