‘DWTS’ Professional Brandon Armstrong Proposes to Girlfriend Brylee Ivers

Dancing With the Stars professional Brandon Armstrong popped the question to his girlfriend Brylee Ivers. Reports state that Armstrong proposed on Monday, using a movie trailer personalized for the couple. The DWTS pro popped the question with a 3.5 carat circle diamond, paired with a gold, diamond band.
The DWTS professional shared that he knew their proposal needed to be something special. Irversis huge on memories, so Armstrong made a personalized movie trailer for his soon-to-be wife. The couple had one of their first deep conversations outside of a movie theater, so this route only seemed right. Ivers noted that their first “I love yous” were outside of a movie theater.
The couple got engaged at a movie theater in Utah on Monday. Armstrong filled the theater with their friends and family for the occasion and noted that he began crying as soon as the trailer went on to the screen. After the conclusion of the trailer, he walked to the front of the theater and popped the question to Ivers.
“I made a good decision a while back to ask you on a date…made the BEST decision of my life asking you to be my wife last night! I love you forever bry!” he wrote.
Even though this couples’ engagement is so knew, they’ve already shared that their wedding theme will be classic and timeless. Other than sharing that the celebration will be like a fiesta, the couple did not share any further details about tying the knot.
The History of Brandon Armstrong and Brylee Ivers
This couple began dating in early 2021 after meeting on Instagram. Technically, this was not the first place Armstrong had seen her. The DWTS professional noted that he originally downloaded a dating app similar to Tinder for their church. He originally saw her on the app, but was too embarrassed to message her on that platform. Instead, he went to Instagram and direct messaged her there.
They exchanged messages for a month before meeting in person for their first date. Both parties noted that the conversation was easy right from the beginning. This couple was originally private about the beginning of their relationship. In October 2021, Ivers confirmed on social media that she and Armstrong were together. Although she had been posting photos linking them to one another, it had not been confirmed up to that point.
It seems like Armstrong’s first Instagram post about Ivers was published last Thanksgiving. In the post, the professional dancer shared that his girlfriend fulfills all of the things he was wanting and needing in life. Since then, the couple seems to be connected at the hip.
Armstrong recently shared that he had been planning the engagement for a few months. The couple reportedly went ring shopping around Christmas last year. According to Ivers’ Instagram story, she had no idea that this was coming. On the story, she also shared that her best friends helped her fiancé and had to keep the secret for months.
