Matthew’s brother Joey competed on Season 3 of Dancing with the Stars, finishing in third place with Edyta Śliwińska. Burke won that season with her partner Emmitt Smith. She and Matthew started dating the next year. They eventually broke up in 2008, but they reconnected in 2017 and tied the knot in May 2019. The couple has no kids together.
