Dancing with the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli will be competing on a new reality show called The Mob, set to stream on Hulu. The celebrity competition show will reportedly be similar to The Traitors.
Bruno Tonioli to Compete on New Show The Mob
According to Deadline, Hulu’s new reality show The Mob will be hosted by actress Parker Posey and feature a group of celebrities competing in an Italian villa for up to $250,000 in cash prizes. Each episode will challenge them to take on jobs inspired by mob movies.
The contestants will reportedly choose a don to make decisions, including about who gets “whacked.” The show is from Studio Lambert, producer of The Traitors, as well as Primal Media, which was behind the horror game show Release The Hounds.
Tonioli is just one of several celebrity contestants appearing on the new show. The competition will also feature former DWTS contestant Harry Jowsey, as well as Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Demi Engemann. Other contestants include Willam Belli, Chelsea Lazkani, Joe Gorga, Debi Mazar, Bella Palk, Romeo, Aida Turturro, Maria Georgas, and Shane Parton.
Tonioli is no stranger to reality shows, although he’s usually a judge rather than a contestant. He’s sat on the panel for both Dancing with the Stars and Strictly Come Dancing, and he was formerly a judge on Britain’s Got Talent.
Tonioli also previously appeared on the British dance competition show DanceX, as well as Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann, in which he led a team of performers against his fellow longtime DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba.
