Drake Bell Reported Missing, Police Consider Him ‘Endangered’

UPDATE 4/13/23: Drake Bell has reportedly been found after he was reported missing Thursday morning. According to TMZ, police have been in touch with Bell, and he’s safe. Where he was and why he was considered to be in danger is still unclear.
Actor and musician Drake Bell has been reported missing, and police reportedly consider him “endangered.” The former Nickelodeon star, who was put on probation in 2021, was apparently last seen Wednesday night.
Drake Bell Has Been Reported Missing
According to TMZ, Drake Bell has been reported missing. Daytona Beach Police have said of the former Drake & Josh actor, “He is considered missing and endangered.” Bell was reportedly last seen on Wednesday at around 9 p.m., driving a 2022 gray BMW in the area of Mainland High School.
Daytona Beach Police posted about Bell on Facebook Thursday morning, including a photo of the actor and calling him by his first and last name, Jared Bell. (Drake is the actor’s middle name, and how he is known professionally.)
The post provides a phone number and email address for people to call if they have any information. Although some commenters apparently believed it to be a hoax, the police department confirmed in a follow-up comment that it’s “a legitimate post.”

Bell Was Put on Probation in 2021
Bell was previously sentenced to two years probation over a case of attempted child endangerment. He pled guilty to the charges in 2021. Before that, Bell was arrested for DUI in 2015 and was accused of abuse by his ex-girlfriend in 2020. He also filed for bankruptcy in 2014.
Bell has been married to Janet Von Schmeling since 2018. They have a son together named Jeremy Drake Bell. The actor frequently posts photos and videos of his son on Instagram. His last post to the platform was on March 6.
In addition to acting, Bell is also a musician who has released several albums over the years. He has recently teased the upcoming release of a new album called Non-Stop Flight.
