Before I started working for Talent Recap, way back in the summer, I saw numerous friends on Facebook post Darci Lynne Farmer’s golden buzzer audition. I was tagged by several of them because they know my undying love of puppets. Well, it seems that a lot of people were doing that as Time Magazine has named Darci’s audition as one of the top viral videos of 2017.
She comes in at #4 with over 42 million views on YouTube. That’s insane. It’s no wonder she won the show. She sings Summertime with Talentino’s major crush Petunia the rabbit. It is pretty epic. She was beat out on the list by videos by Ed Sheeren and clam-masked singer from Asia. It’s tough to compete with that. Still, having now seen her live with Talentino and Talent Recap contributor Jason Ginsburg I can honestly say she’s even more impressive in person.
