‘Dancing With the Stars’ Standout Jimmie Allen Welcomes Baby Girl with Wife Alexis Gale

Country superstar Jimmie Allen is now a father of three! He and his wife, Alexis Gale, welcomed their baby girl, Zara James Allen, on Saturday, Oct. 16. They posed for an adorable photo on Instagram to share the news.
On Saturday, Jimmie announced he was postponing his show in Forest City, North Carolina. Speculation grew that Alexis was in labor. The couple also shares 19-month-old daughter Naomi. Jimmie is a father to a 7-year-old son, Aadyn, from his previous relationship.
“The new addition to our family is here and we couldn’t be happier to finally meet her,” Jimmie wrote on Instagram. “Alexis you’re a champion, I love you and so thankful for you.”
Jimmie Allen Shares New Baby Has Arrived Ahead of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Episode
Jimmie gave an update during last week’s episode of Dancing with the Stars that Alexis was two centimeters dilated. As a current contestant on Season 30 of the ABC show, he took a break from rehearsals to be with Alexis in Nashville. Once he shared the baby news on Instagram, the comments section of his post was flooded with love from his fellow Dancing with the Stars contestants.
Jimmie and Alexis secretly got married in June 2020, a few months after she gave birth to Naomi. They celebrated with a lavish wedding with friends and family in May 2021. In August, Jimmie gushed to People Magazine about expecting another baby girl.
“That’s like nine more years of Disney princesses!” he said. “I’m obsessed with Disney World. I’ve always wanted to go inside a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.”
Jimmie showed off his love for Disney and fatherhood during Disney Week on Dancing with the Stars. He and pro partner Emma Slater were awarded two extra bonus points for acing the Mickey Dance Challenge. Slater shared Alexis and Jimmie’s photo on her own Instagram page along with her excitement for the couple.
“They had their baby girl!!!! Zara James Allen born yesterday, and she is soooooo cute!!” Slater wrote. “Congratulations @lexmarieallen & @jimmieallen, you’re now a beautiful family of 5. So happy for you guys!!”
The duo will be performing a Foxtrot tonight for Grease Night on Dancing with the Stars at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
