Dancing with the Stars officially has a premiere date for Season 35, and there’s a twist this year. The 2026 competition will actually premiere on ABC and Disney+ over two nights in September.
Dancing with the Stars to Premiere Over Two Nights
Earlier this week, it was announced that Dancing with the Stars Season 35 will premiere on Tuesday, September 15, on both ABC and Disney+. The premiere will span two nights, with another episode airing live on Wednesday, September 16.
New episodes of the show will also be available for fans to stream the following day on Hulu. The full cast for Season 35 has yet to be announced, but all will be revealed on Good Morning America September 2. The roster of pros will include the winner of DWTS: The Next Pro, which is currently airing on ABC.
Co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough will be back to emcee Season 35, and judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli are expected to return to the show’s panel for the new competition.

Which Celebrities Have Already Been Announced?
Although the full cast of celebrity contestants for Season 35 has yet to be revealed, four of them were announced earlier this year to get fans excited for the new competition. That includes Love Island star Maura Higgins and Summer House cast member Ciara Miller.
It was also announced that Savannah Bananas baseball player Jackson Olson and Jimmy Kimmel Live! sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez will be competing this season. The Season 35 pros have yet to be announced, although fans think Rylee Arnold might be returning to the ballroom based on a recent social media post.
