Michael Bublé is Guest Judging His Theme Week on DWTS
DWTS excitedly presents Michael Bublé theme week on Disney+, airing on October 24. The Grammy-winning, multi-platinum superstar entertainer will not only serve as a guest judge but will also perform his latest single and album title track “Higher.”
On Bublé week, every celebrity and professional competitor will dance to timeless selections from the singer’s extensive catalog. Following the announcement, Bublé took to Instagram to ask fans which songs the DWTS cast should use for their routines.
Ahead of Dancing With the Stars, Bublé has been performing in packed arenas on a nightly basis on his “Higher” Tour. This US based tour follows the singer’s sold-out international tour that took place this summer.
Bublé’s upcoming tour stops include Los Angeles’s Crypto.com Arena on September 23 and Sacramento’s Garden 1 Center on September 24. The tour wraps up on October 11, in Buffalo, NY’s KeyBank Center. Tickets are still available on the singer’s official website.
Derek Hough Reveals That he Initiated Bublé Night on DWTS
DWTS pro turned judge Derek Hough revealed that he is close friends with Bublé and that’s how they got the singer to guest-judge on the show. In an interview, Hough said that he directed the video for Bublé’s “Higher,” earlier this year, where the two became good friends.
Since Hough initiated Bublé’s involvement in the series, he’s not ashamed to admit that he’s counting down the days until the theme night. Hough cannot wait to at judge’s table with his buddy, saying, “He’s going to judge. He’s going to perform. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Hough then finished by explaining that not only will Bublé guest-judge, but he’ll also be performing that night. The Bublé-themed night will no doubt be a wonderful addition to the show’s themes. Other confirmed theme nights include Elvis night in week two, and a Halloween-themed week on October 31.
