Courtney Hadwin Reveals She’s Been In Talks With Simon Cowell

Courtney Hadwin may have been a clear fan favorite on America’s Got Talent this summer, but she doesn’t see herself that way.
The Season 13 finalist recently revealed to People that reaching the top 10 made her feel like a winner, despite not receiving the grand prize in the end.
“It was the best experience of my life. I didn’t see myself as a fan favorite at all. I just felt so lucky to be there in the final and to be in the top 10 doesn’t really feel like losing to me. […] People know who I am now and what I can do, and it’s all thanks to AGT. It was never about winning for me. I just love to perform, and that’s it really,”
One of the best things about AGT is that there are often “multiple winners” on each season. That is to say, while only one act can be the official “champion” we often see several careers launch from the show each year (and that’s amazing considering some other reality shows can’t do that for any of the contestants, even the winner).
If this next tidbit of information Courtney shared is any indication, she very well may be on her way to joining the ranks of Piff The Magic Dragon, Tape Face, and other acts who didn’t win the competition but went on on to make a mark on the entertainment world after their season.
“I had a meeting at Simon’s house as well and met his dogs. “It’s been so busy since the final, but I have heard from Simon and Howie, which was really nice.”
A meeting between Courtney and Simon Cowell had been heavily rumored, but it’s great to have it confirmed. Here’s hoping we get more music from Courtney in the near future!
