Dancing with the Stars Season 33 is premiering next month, but we have yet to find out which celebrities will be competing. Some fans think a viral gymnast from the recent Paris Olympics could be among the contestants.
Is an Olympic Gymnast Joining DWTS Season 33?
As Heavy reports, the Instagram account for Inside Gymnastics magazine recently posted a graphic showing gymnasts who have competed on DWTS in the past — including Shawn Johnson, Simone Biles, and Suni Lee. They left a blank spot at the end, with a question mark.
“Which Olympic gymnast will be on Dancing with the Stars?!” reads the post’s caption, pointing out that several gymnasts competed on the show shortly after the Olympics. “Who would you like to see after Paris 2024?!”
Some fans are hoping that this season will feature a male gymnast — specifically Team USA’s Stephen Nedoroscik. The pommel horse specialist earned two bronze medals during the Paris Games, and he went viral on social media for removing his glasses before competing.

What Did Nedoroscik Have to Say About It?
Nedoroscik himself recently commented on the possibility that he’ll join Dancing with the Stars. Insider Kristyn Burtt posted about it on TikTok, suggesting that the athlete’s answer could be a strong clue that he’s signing on to the show.
“One of my biggest insecurities is dancing, personally,” Nedoroscik told Access Hollywood. “But I’m always the type of guy that pushes boundaries. Like, even just competing at the Olympics is a very uncomfortable environment. And I’ve gotten comfortable being uncomfortable.”
He shared that it was “definitely not out of the question” for him to join Dancing with the Stars, adding, “We’ll see.” The new season premieres September 17 on ABC and Disney+. We won’t have to wait much longer to find out who’s in the cast.
