We’ve seen over a hundred celebrities take The Masked Singer stage on the United States version of the series, but how about in other countries? Here’s a list of celebrities (that are/or have been popular in America) that have competed globally on The Masked Singer.
1. Cody Simpson
Singer and Dancing With the Stars alum Cody Simpson appeared on The Masked Singer AU in 2019 as Robot. Within the competition, he performed “Hold Back the River” by James Bay, “The Horses” by Daryl Braithwaite, “I Don’t Care” by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber, and more. In the end, Cody won the competition, only one judge guessed his identity correct.
2. Michelle Williams
Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams has appeared on both the American and British versions of The Masked Singer. After appearing on season two of The Masked Singer (USA), Michelle appeared on The Masked Singer UK. Earlier this year, she was unmasked as Rockhopper after six weeks on stage.
3. Macy Gray
Even American Song Contest‘s Ohio representative Macy Gray appeared on The Masked Singer AU in late 2021. She took the stage three times before being unmasked. None of the judges guessed her identity correct.
4. Ne-Yo
Singer/songwriter Ne-Yo was unmasked as part of The Masked Singer UK in 2020. Even though Ne-Yo has a pretty recognizable voice, only two of the panelists guessed his identity correct. He won runner up of the season behind Joss Stone as sausage.
5. Mel B
Former America’s Got Talent judge Mel B was unmasked on The Masked Singer UK in 2021. Mel B only performed once before being unmasked. Since she is such a big name, it’s no surprise that three out of four panelists guessed her identity correct.
6. CeeLo Green
Even one of the original coaches on The Voice was apart of The Masked Singer globally. Original coach CeeLo Green appeared on The Masked Singer UK in 2020. He performed six times before revealing his identity.
