Britney Spears Rumored to Be Releasing a New Song with Will.i.am

Britney Spears is rumored to be making a musical comeback later this month by releasing a new song with Black Eyed Peas rapper Will.i.am. Fans are already speculating about the potential release on social media.

The Sun reports that Spears and Will.i.am are expected to release their new collaboration later this month. The outlet points out that this will be Spears’ first new music since 2020, not counting last year’s “Tiny Dancer” remix with Elton John.
It would also be her first new release since her 13-year conservatorship ended in 2021. However, this wouldn’t be the first time Spears has worked with Will.i.am. They previously collaborated on the 2013 song “Scream & Shout.”
“Britney and Will have a huge amount of love and respect for each other and really trust each other’s musical judgment,” a source told The Sun. “Will has long been Britney’s No1 supporter and he wants to see her succeed. Both of them are excited to be releasing this surprise track and they know fans will love it.”

The Rapper Has Hinted at the Collaboration
The Sun points out that last month, Will.i.am mentioned Spears during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, saying, “We’ve done cool things together, and I’m so happy that she’s on this new journey and shining. She’s still got hurdles, but you know what, we’re all there to support her.”
Fans on Twitter also pointed out that in a recent episode of The Voice Kids, the rapper made another mention of Spears. He appeared to speak to her over an intercom in the recording studio, saying, “Britney, I’m gonna have to leave. I gotta go find the next generation’s superstars.”
Fans also believe the new track could be an unreleased song from Spears’ 2013 album Britney Jean. We’ll have to wait and see what comes of this rumor later this month.
