‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Shares Early Release Clips from Season Premiere
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Britain’s Got Talent Series 16 kicks off this weekend, and the show has already shared a few early release clips from the two-night premiere. In the new videos, fans can get a sneak peek at two auditions, as well as hosts Ant and Dec’s festive entrance to the show.
Britain’s Got Talent Teases Two New Auditions
BGT shared a sneak peek of two auditions that inspired very different reactions from the judges and audience. In the first clip, a group called Parkour Collective takes the stage. First, a video clip shows them making their way to the show, jumping over stairs and railings.
When they get to the stage, the group shows off some seriously impressive acrobatic moves, at one point getting close to the judges’ table. The panel is amazed by the stunts, with Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli standing up from their seats.
In another preview from the premiere, a performer named Ichikawa Koikuchi takes the stage to perform an unusual routine in which he passes gas in order to blow a party horn and blow out birthday candles. Both Cowell and Tonioli buzz the performance.

Ant and Dec Arrive to the Show in Style
In addition to the auditions, BGT also shared a preview clip featuring the show’s hosts, Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly. They wake up on the first day of auditions, excited to get started. When they walk out the door, they start singing “Having a Party.”
More and more people join them as they walk down the street, until eventually they’re part of a colorful parade. However, it turns out to have all been a dream Dec was having in the car on the way to the auditions — or was it?
Series 16 of Britain’s Got Talent begins airing on Saturday, April 15, at 8 p.m. on ITV1 and STV.
