BREAKING: ‘American Idol’ Contestants Disney Week Performances Announced – Here’s The Full List:

Reading Time: 4 minutes
Next week is the American Idol round we’ve all been waiting on: Disney Week. Evers since Disney bought American Idol for its ABC network, it’s been all about songs from the magic kingdom. We have a list of what everyone is singing. Boy are we in for a treat.

Alejandro Aranda will sing Remember Me From Coco
I mean…this is going to be epic. If you want to see a grown ass Jack Tomas cry, just show him Coco or play Remember Me. I mean CRY. I better get my hanky ready because having the one and only Alejandro sing this song is going to make me weepy. PERFECT song selection.

Alyssa Raghu will sing Colors of The Wind from Pocahontas
I was a little too old to appreciate Pocahontas as a kid when it came out. But this ode to the Native American appreciation of nature is the perfect song for Alyssa Raghu. Not only is it in her range, I can see her really getting into this song.

Dimitrius Graham will sing You’ll Be In My Heart from Tarzan
Tarzan isn’t the greatest Disney film, in my personal opinion. But this Oscar-winning song from Phil Collins is incredible. I never thought a Phil song would work for Dimitrius…but maybe it could? He is a great singer and has shown a lot of range.

Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon will sing Candle on the Water from Pete’s Dragon
This is a deeper cut into the Disney vault but take my word for it, Jeremiah is going to kill it. Pete’s Dragon is a depressing mix of animation and live action about a boy who is violently abused who befriends an obese dragon. This song is equally sad. Jeremiah will have everyone balling when he sings this.

Laci Kaye Booth will sing I See The Light from Tangled
I’ll be honest, I haven’t seen Tangled. That’s the limit of me being 40 and not having kids. But I listened to the song and I think it could really give Laci an edge. It’s right in her wheelhouse. It’s the kind of song I think she can really shine doing. Good choice!

Laine Hardy will sing Oo-De-Lally from Robin Hood
OK, now you’re talking. Laine will annihilate this song and I guarantee that it will drive the audience wild. I’m low-key obsessed with Disney’s version of Robin Hood. It’s got this country/rockabilly soundtrack that is perfect for Laine. This may be what puts him over the top.

Madison VanDenburg will sing How Far I’ll Go from Moana
Honestly, not only do I think this is the perfect selection for Madison, but I think she should also play Moana on Broadway when it eventually goes there. Not only is it in her wheelhouse, she kind of looks like Moana.

Uche will sing I2I from Goofy Movie
This is also a deep cut, but one that will definitely serve in Uche’s favor. Let’s face it, he’s got a bit of Goofy in him. Definitely they are both super lanky. Uche will, without a doubt, knock it out of the park.

Wade Cota will sing You’ve Got A Friend In Me from Toy Story
Wade Cota and this classic song from Toy Story are two great tastes that go even better together. He’s got the raspy voice to match Randy Newman’s original version. This is another one that is just going to delight everyone.

Walker Boroughs will sing When She Loved Me from Toy Story 2
Wade isn’t the only one singing a Pixar Toy Story song. Walker will do When She Loved Me from Toy Story 2 and this is, again, a great pick for him. He practically is Woody, after all.

As a special bonus to round out Disney Week, last season’s winner Maddie Poppe and Caleb Lee Hutchinson will sing A Whole New World from Aladdin. You do not want to miss this!
