Brandon Armstrong Leaves DWTS Tour Early

Over the weekend, Brandon Armstrong took to Instagram to share that he was “super bummed” about leaving the DWTS tour. Armstrong could be seen wearing a sling on his arm, sharing that he had been dealing with a “problem in my elbow.”

“Long story short, I have a broken elbow. I broke a bone in my elbow,” Armstrong explained about the injury. “Could be a lot worse. Could obviously be a lot better.”

After speaking with a doctor and the tour team, Armstrong was advised to leave the tour and go home in order to “get healthy again.” The dancer shared that what excited him most about going on tour was getting to meet the fans. As he said, “I’m gonna miss you guys.”

Armstrong said he hopes to get healthy enough by the end of the summer to meet fans at the DWTS convention in Palm Springs, California. He also shared his hope that he’ll be involved in the next live tour.

The pro lineup for Season 35 of DWTS has yet to be announced, so we’ll have to wait and see if Armstrong will be back in the ballroom this fall. Hopefully his injury will be healed by then.
