Bobby Bones Hosting Nashville New Year’s Eve Special
Bones will be joined by co-host Rachel Smith of Entertainment Tonight for the five-hour special, titled New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. It will air December 31, from 8 pm to 11 pm ET/PT, and then picking back up from 11:30 pm to 1:30 am ET/PT, on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
“I’m so excited to celebrate and host New Year’s Eve this year right down the street from my house, with so many of my friends who have great performances planned,” Bones said in a press release. “I can’t wait to show America how special Nashville is.”
The event will be up against FOX’s “Toast & Roast” special with Masked Singer stars Ken Jeong and Joel McHale, who are returning for their second year in a row as hosts. And don’t forget ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, hosted by Ryan Seacrest. There’s a lot to watch.

Other stars who are set to appear include former The Voice guest coach Kelsea Ballerini, recent Battle Advisors Jason Aldean and Dierks Bentley, and Shelton’s ex-wife Miranda Lambert. There will be nearly 50 performances in total, so it’s sure to be an exciting night.
