Bob Saget may have passed away two years ago, but he’s certainly left a legacy. On his second death anniversary, his wife Kelly Rizzo and fellow Full House stars took the time to remember him.

Bob Saget’s Wife Kelly Rizzo Remember Him 2 Years After His Sudden Death

In an Instagram post, Rizzo got candid about marking the second year of her husband’s tragic demise. The actress uploaded the last photo Saget sent her, saying it “perfectly encapsulates” how he wants people to remember him — “making people laugh” and “making people happy.”

“I will forever be grateful that I got to share life with this extraordinary person for 6 years. What a blessing,” she wrote. “And grateful I can look back on endless memories and photos and videos with smiles, laughter, and yes…still tears. It is such a gift I was able to know his complete and all encompassing love and heart.”

On January 9, 2022, Saget was found dead in a hotel room in Orlando, Florida. According to Orange County Chief Medical Examiner’s Office, the Full House actor passed away due to blunt head trauma.

On Tuesday, Rizzo visited the grave of her husband at Mount Sinai Cemetery. As Rizzo paid her respects, she sat cross-legged by his tombstone and contemplated in spot for about 20 minutes.

In the same post, Rizzo expressed her appreciation for the people who didn’t forget Saget.

“I’m still blown away by the fact that Bob hasn’t faded from all of your hearts in the slightest. It means so very much. Thank you for allowing me to still share Bob and thank you all for continuing to keep his memory alive,” she wrote. “Once again, please do as Bob would do and hug your loved ones, hold them tight, and tell them over and over again that you love them.”

His Full House Co-Stars Reflect on Their Grief

Rizzo wasn’t the only person who paid tribute to the comedian. His Full House family also took the time to write their messages for their beloved co-star. John Stamos, Andrea Barber, Dave Coulier, Jodie Sweetin, and Candace Cameron Bure united for an Instagram Live to reflect on the two years since Saget has died.

“It almost gets weirder as time goes on, because I’m like, ‘Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve heard from Bob.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh.’ It’s so weird to have gone two years without getting a crazy, long text from him or a neurotic phone call,” Barber said.

The cast took the time to share some of the memories they had with the actor. According to Coulier, Saget would always call him and belt out a “song in falsetto.” He further reflected on his death, stating that Saget gets to be “alive” in their hearts because of the grief they feel.

“I think the biggest thing I learned through this, because Bob is the closest person I’ve lost in my life so far, is that it’s been so nice to have people just sit in the grief with you,” Bure said. “It’s been a gift.”

Later, Stamos uploaded a clip of their Instagram Live, accompanying his tribute to his friend.

“I guess what I’m trying to say is, I miss him. A lot. Every day. But I’m also grateful for the time we had, for the laughs, for the friendship. He was one of a kind, and I was lucky to call him my friend,” he wrote. “I love you Baby. Thanks for being a part of my life.”
