Shelton is Hoping to “Cut Back or Stop Drinking Altogether” in the New Year
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Shelton revealed that reducing his drinking habits is still his goal next year. The country crooner stated that he’s had that New Year’s resolution for years.
“I haven’t managed to stop drinking yet,” he said. “Even cutting back has been hard. I mean, it’s a resolution though. And I’ll say it again right now — that’s my New Year’s resolution. To either cut back or stop drinking altogether. Let’s just say I said it.”
Of what he and his wife Gwen Stefani are planning for the New Year’s Eve, Shelton said they’ll be hitting the hay early.
“If we’re at home during New Year’s Eve, we’re probably going to bed before it even happens,” he said.
