Everyone knows that as long as there has been a Voice there has been a…somewhat friendly rivalry between Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. This mostly spills over into them bickering over artists and insulting each other. But now they are competing for serious stuff as both of them have albums coming out today. Who will be the charts champs?
Blake’s new album, Texoma Shore, and Maroon 5’s record, Red Pill Blues, both come out today. Even though one is on the country charts and the other is on the rock and pop one, these two are still competing with each other. It’s like when two little kids fight over the same toy just for the sake of fighting. The two made a “friendly” bet that if Blake sells more records then Adam has to call him “Captain Country”. If Adam has a bigger hit then Blake has to call him “the best there ever was”.
Who will win? I don’t know. My money is on Blake. People love them some Blake Shelton. But Adam is sneaky and he might pull it off. We’ll have to wait and see.
