Bella Thorne To Star In Indie Film With Fiancé, Benjamin Mascolo
Reading Time: 3 minutes
Bella Thorne is back at it again making her own spot in the film industry. This time, she’s getting friendly with Italian filmmakers alongside her fiancé, Benjamin Mascolo, with a new indie film. This film is set to premiere in select American theaters in September, and in Italian theaters in October.
There is a lot we don’t know about this film, but we do know that the couple are playing lead love interests in this romance film. Time Is Up is so different from what Thorne has been doing recently. She has being cranking out horror films, singles, and music videos that she has directed.
This film will be a great throwback to Thorne’s previous drama/romance role in my guilty pleasure show, Famous In Love. Time Is Up is a film about two people, Viven and Roy, that end up in an accident that makes them reclaim their lives one minute at a time, they begin to live in the moment with one another.
Thorne posted about her excitement for this upcoming film on August 5:
“I’ve never filmed a movie before with someone I’m romantically involved with, and I’m so happy I got to fall in love with you on screen and off screen a million times over,” said Thorne in her post. “If you love romance movies “Time Is Up” is the one for you! We wanted to do a very special preview screening for our fans.. we’ll see you in selected theaters on the 9th of September.”
Could Time Is Up Have Originally Been Filmed In Italian?
It’s no secret that some great shows were originally filmed in a different language, then dubbed over to English. It’s possible this film will implement both Italian and English, considering it is set to premiere in both Italy and America . I’m very interested to see if Thorne will be speaking italian with her future hubby, or not.
It’s been reported that this film will be in English but it was filmed in both Rome and in the USA. Considering Time Is Up has movie posters in both English and Italian, it’s still possible this film will find a way to implement both languages.
This film also has heavy production association related to Italy. It was produced by Italian groups Leone Film Group, Lotus Production, Rai Cinema, and the American group Voltage Pictures.
According to the Time Is Up posters, it’s set to premiere in America in September. Then will premiere in Italy the following month. Fans are very excited after this announcement, but the film’s Instagram page is currently on private.
While Thorne announced the film, Mascolo had his own. He posted the movie poster along with an Instagram story expressing his gratitude toward his fans. He said that he will update them when more information is available. Hopefully, there will be some confirmations about the details of this film soon.
