Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber Raise Over $3.5 Million for First Responders Children’s Foundation

Two of the world’s biggest artists, made magic happen with the power of music. In the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber released “Stuck With U.”The lockdown-inspired single has since raised over $3.5 million for the First Responders Children’s Foundation. The proceeds will go directly to thousands of first responder’s families around the country.

The track, released on May 8, 2020, was recorded in a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The collaboration between Grande, Bieber, and manager Scooter Braun, resulted in mass revenue for the foundation. The project has benefited the families of first responders, healthcare workers, EMTs, paramedics, and firefighters on the frontlines of the pandemic.

The money raised from the hit song will also include scholarship funding for their children. Additionally, it will also provide temporary housing for self-quarantined individuals, and cover funeral costs for first responders who died of COVID-19.

President of First Responders Children’s Foundation, Jillian Crane, expressed her gratitude toward the artists:


“The generosity, and support that Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun have shown the men and women on the front lines of this ongoing pandemic has been a surreal and humbling experience for us,” she told Variety. “As an organization, we have been able to help the everyday heroes who have been on the frontlines of the pandemic, and their family’s immediate needs with the support that has only been made possible due to the collective effort of everyone involved, which we are thankful for.”

The “Stuck With U” single became more than just a charitable act. The hit single reached the top of the billboard 100. It also won the award for Best Video From Home at the 2020 MTV VMAs. The song’s documentary style music video got more stars involved than just Grande and Bieber. A variety of celebrity cameos also included Hailey Bieber, Dalton Gomez, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Demi Lovato, Chance the Rapper, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Michael Bublé, and Jaden Smith.

Grande to Make More Achievements on The Voice

Aside from this spectacular achievement, the “thank u, next” singer will soon add another accomplishment to her list. Season 21 of The Voice, will feature Grande as a coach. Sitting beside, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton the superstar vocalist will build her team in the Blind Auditions.


The singer also expressed that she is beyond excited to join the show. The mentor has already been described as “fun” and “sweet” on set, as she interacted with the live audience on set. Her lighthearted personality will sure make for some interesting coach gifts to her team members this season. Keep an eye out to see what exactly they might be.
