Ariana Grande Joins ‘The Voice’ Season 21
Ariana posted a photo of herself on Instagram posing on the set of The Voice. She leans against one of the coach’s chairs while wearing a leopard-print dress and matching shoes.
The singer said she would be joining fellow coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton. That means coach Nick Jonas won’t be returning to the show next season. However, he’s taken a season off in the past, so maybe we’ll see him again.
Ariana wrote in the caption to her post that she was “beyond thrilled, honored, excited” to join the coaching panel next season. She told Nick Jonas that “we will miss you.”
The Voice also posted the news on the show’s official Instagram account, with a caption referencing Ariana’s song “Thank U, Next”: “Our new Coach’s name is Ari and we’re so good with that.”

I have been a huge fan of the show for such a long time,” Ariana said in a statement, according to Variety. “I can’t wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists and help to take their craft to the next level.”
Ariana’s fans also made sure to share their thoughts about the news on Twitter. One user predicted that Ariana will be great for the show’s ratings. Some other fans said they would audition for the show just to meet her.
One fan even predicted that Ariana’s artist would be sure to win the season because of how passionate the singer’s fans are. We’ll have to wait and see if that turns out to be true.
