America’s Got Talent has shared the official trailer for Season 21 of the show, premiering next month on NBC. The new video teases some of the amazing acts fans can expect to see auditioning for the show this summer.
America’s Got Talent Trailer Teases Season 21
“Two minutes literally could change your life,” judge Simon Cowell can be heard saying at the start of the new AGT Season 21 trailer, which teases a performance from an aerialist who spins above the judges’ heads.
The video then immediately cuts to Howie Mandel pressing the Golden Buzzer, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he did so for the act we just saw. Other acts featured in the trailer include what looks to be a trio of magicians, a group of young gymnasts, a woman with a flaming bra, and a group of drummers.
Another performer featured in the video is a contortionist who shares that she was previously paralyzed, explaining, “When I recovered, I started to move my body in a way I couldn’t do before.” Cowell tells her, “You’re gonna be remembered for that.”
Later in the trailer, we get a quick peek at a knife-throwing act, as well as a performer who swallows a sword underwater. Judge Mel B can be heard shouting, “What just happened?”
Season 21 of America’s Got Talent is set to premiere on Tuesday, June 2, at 8/7c on NBC. New episodes of the season will also be available to stream the following day on Peacock. As usual, the season will begin with the audition round, with two-hour episodes each Tuesday night.
After that, according to NBC Insider, the Season 21 live shows will kick off on August 18. During this portion of the competition, the show will air twice a week — with results announced on Wednesday nights.
Season 21 of America’s Got Talent will feature the same judging panel as last year — Howie Mandel, Mel B, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell. The show will once again be hosted by Terry Crews.
