America’s Got Talent Shares New Season 20 Sneak Peek
The new clip is set to the song “We Built This City” by Starship. Judge Simon Cowell can be seen pulling up the the auditorium for auditions as hopeful acts gather outside. He admits that he’s nervous about the new competition, especially since it’s the show’s 20th year.
Fellow judges Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Mel B can then be seen arriving and greeting fans as the crew gets everything set up for auditions. Mel B gives Mandel a hug as they’re reunited, and she tells Vergara that she’s “gorgeous” as they meet for the first time.
Host Terry Crews can be seen walking out onto the show’s stage to introduce the judges as they prepare to watch the first auditions of the season. Mel B complains that it’s “not right” that Cowell is the last one to enter the auditorium, as he explains that he’s “the important one.”
The video then features a montage of acts auditioning for this season. There are incredible acrobatic acts, passionate singers, and more. We also get a sneak peek at the judges hitting the Golden Buzzer, although we don’t see which acts received the honor.

“This is something we all felt passion about sharing with the audience,” Cowell said of the more in-depth look at the show’s production. “In addition, it’s the 20th season, so it felt right, and I personally think this is the best first episode of AGT I’ve ever seen, and I hope you do too.”
