There has never been, in the history of humankind, a forum for nastiness like Twitter. People are savage on Twitter unlike any other form of social media. It really shows the lowest possible depths of human cruelty. In the above video the judges of America’s Got Talent read some mean tweets about themselves.
America’s Got Talent is a family show, so they chose some pretty tame mean tweets to read. I’m quite sure that there are much, much worse things out there. Still, it’s not nice to hear people make fun of you. One tweet that I think is pretty telling is the one saying that Howie’s OCD is better because he swung on Aileene George’s stripper pole. Simon says he has been helping Howie with his problem by hugging and kissing him. Weird.
Tyra Banks is an easy target for haters for some reason. I’m not sure what it is. She’s just the type of celebrity that people love to mess with.
