‘American Idol’ Top 20 From Home: VOTE HERE For Your Faves [VIDEO]
American Idol Season 18 continued Sunday night, and it’s time to vote for your favorites from the Top 20. The show didn’t let quarantine stop them, as singers and judges appeared from their homes.
Of course, Katy Perry didn’t miss an opportunity to wear a crazy outfit. She appeared from home wearing a costume that made her look like a giant bottle of hand sanitizer. There were even band members and backup singers performing remotely to back the singers up.
You can vote for your favorites on the American Idol website, on the American Idol app, or by texting the number of the singer to 21523. You get 10 votes her contestant per method of voting, and can reallocate your votes at any time online before voting closes at 9 am ET Monday morning.
The votes will determine who will make it into the Top 10 this season. Results will be announced during next Sunday’s show. Check out the night’s performances below, and follow the buttons to vote.

Kimmy performed “Leave Me Lonely” by Ariana Grande on her back porch, which was decorated with flowers. Katy said she didn’t recognize Kimmy, and suggested she had a “character evolution.” Luke Bryan called her a “world-class singer.” You can vote for Kimmy by texting 1 to 21523.
Jovin performed the Joe Cocker version of “With a Little Help From My Friends” from his garage. Luke called him a “special talent,” while Lionel Richie said he was instantly recognizable, joking that his voice has “barbecue sauce.” Katy said he separated himself. Franklin performed “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears from his living room while his family stood nearby holding up signs of support for him. Olivia sang “Bad Guy” by Billie Eilish from her living room, where her parents rushed to hug her afterward. Katy said she could hear the quality of her voice more this time, and Luke said he had “fun” watching the performance. You can vote for Olivia by texting 4 to 21523.
Louis sang “If the World Was Ending” by JP Saxe and Julia Michaels from his bedroom as he played the keyboard. Luke said it was a great song choice and showed who Louis could be as an artist. Lionel said his voice was “stellar.” You can vote for Louis by texting 5 to 21523.
Makayla sang “Greedy” by Ariana Grande from her living room. Lionel said it was “as professional as it’s ever going to be.” Katy said it reminded her of practicing at home in the mirror, which she related to. Luke said she makes things look easy. You can vote for Makayla by texting 6 to 21523.
After Lionel compared her to a young Whitney Houston, Aliana performed “Run to You” by Whitney from her house. Katy pointed out what a hard song it is to sing, and said she got goosebumps. Faith sang “River” by Bishop Briggs from home. Lionel suggested she should have opened her eyes more, but he still loved it. Luke said it was his favorite rendition of that song, while Katy said she had never heard her belt like that before. You can vote for Faith by texting 8 to 21523.
Nick sang “Hey There Delilah” by the Plain White T’s while playing piano. Luke said he wanted Nick to “dig in” more, but enjoyed seeing him play piano. Katy said she was able to hear the “subtleties” of Nick’s voice during this performance. You can vote for Nick by texting 9 to 21523.
Lauren sang “Mamma Knows Best” by Jessie J with an incredible view of water and mountains. Katy said she’s continuing to grow, and Luke agreed that her voice gets “better and better.” Lionel said her “attitude was on point.” You can vote by Lauren by texting 10 to 21523.
Cyniah sang “Warrior” by Demi Lovato from her living room. Luke said she’s one of the best singers in the competition, and complimented her song choice. Lionel said she makes it “look so effortless,” while Katy encouraged her to work the camera more. You can vote for Cyniah by texting 11 to 21523.

The former Sophia Wackerman performed “Burning” by Maggie Rogers on the keyboard. Katy said it was “so pleasing to hear,” while Luke called her “sneaky good.” Lionel said she can “melt hearts” when she looks into the camera. You can vote for Sophia by texting 13 to 21523.

DeWayne performed “I Got You (I Feel Good)” by James Brown in his living room while his family danced along. Luke suggested that it was “a little too slick,” but complimented the ending. Katy said it needed to be “dirtier.” You can vote for DeWayne by texting 14 to 21523.
Dillon sang “Let It Be Me” by Ray LaMontagne, playing guitar by his back shed. Lionel said he looked like “a world-class artist,” and it seems like he’s already released records. Arthur performed “Lovin’ Machine” by Wynonie Harris on his porch. Katy advised him to connect with the camera, but said she was dancing in her house. Lionel called it “powerful,” and Luke said he’ll be a “wildfire” when he realizes his full potential. You can vote for Arthur by texting 16 to 21523.
Julia sang “Human” by Christina Perri on the keyboard. Luke said he could hear the nuances in her voice. Lionel called Julia a “stylist,” as she stayed in her own wheelhouse. Katy called it a “beautiful performance.” You can vote for Julia by texting 17 to 21523.
