‘American Idol’ Runner-Up Megan Danielle Teases New Music

American Idol Season 21 runner-up Megan Danielle took to social media this week to share a sneak peek at a new song she’s working on. Fans are excited to hear what the singer has in store moving forward in her career.
American Idol‘s Megan Danielle Teases New Song
Earlier this week, Danielle posted a video to Instagram in which she can be seen standing in a recording booth singing a new song. We only hear a snippet of the track, but the singer’s voice sounds soulful and emotional.
“A little BTS of something BEAUTIFUL coming !!!!” Danielle wrote over the clip. In the post’s caption, she wrote, “New tunes coming sooooon.” She added the hashtags #country, #christian, #jesus, #hope, and #trust, among others.
In the comments of the video, fans shared their excitement to hear the new song. The public’s vote carried Danielle all the way to the Season 21 finale of American Idol, where she finished in second place behind winner Iam Tongi.

The Singer Released the Single ‘Dream Girl’
Fans don’t have to wait for Danielle to release the song she was teasing on social media in order to stream her music. As part of her time on American Idol Season 21, the singer recorded a song called “Dream Girl.”
The song was co-written by former Idol contestant Laci Kaye Booth alongside Logan Wall. The track has an uplifting message about following your dreams, and it features soaring vocals from the singer.
“I feel like the overall message of ‘Dream Girl’ is really just to share positivity and just share kindness with everyone,” Danielle said of the song. “I just hope when people hear this song they feel the emotion and the love that I put into the song.”
