‘American Idol’ Alum Normandy Vamos Plans to Drop a Song on Valentine’s Day Amid Lawsuit Against The Show

The squeaky voiced American Idol season 20 alum, Normandy Vamos, is set on releasing a new song on Valentine’s Day. The upcoming single titled “Sweetest Jam,” will be dropped on every platforms amid her American Idol lawsuit.
Normandy Vamos is Releasing a New Single
Vamos, known as Normandy on the show, really stood out during her audition, where she even made judge Katy Perry walk out upon hearing her singing voice. She spoke in a very high-pitched and squeaky voice which contrasts her deep singing voice while performing.
Vamos is once again showing off her high pitched voice for her latest single “Sweetest Jam.” Which is a love song to be released on February 14. The song’s release is a dance comes after she sued American Idol and its staff for an alleged wage theft lawsuit.
Her run on American Idol didn’t exactly go the distance, as right after the second week, of performing. The show’s producers then revealed she would not be performing in the Hollywood rounds. It is unknown if her high speaking voice is her normal tone or just an act to keep her onstage character.
Normandy Vamos is Suing American Idol for “Wage Theft”
Vamos claimed that she was the victim of an alleged wage theft from the show and that she was made a laughingstock on the show. Apart from her unique voice, another aspect that stood out to was her choice in clothing during the auditions. She had a carrot shaped bag and bunny eared slippers.
According to the lawsuit, Vamos and the other hopefuls allegedly then had to stay in a Hollywood hotel. They were on standby for 15 hours every day for eight straight days without receiving any pay.
Vamos contends that she and the other competitors ought to have received their wages. Including overtime pay, and reimbursement for reasonable business expenditures. Vamos also claims that producers “taught her how to appear. Including sound, resulting in an audition that grabbed headlines and went viral online.”
Fans generally didn’t take too kindly to Vamos’ absurd lawsuit. Moment, some even their utmost desire for the the lawsuit to be dropped completely. Apart from convincing the judge, Vamos will also have to please her fans about the reasoning behind her actions
