‘Americal Idol’ Alum Lauren Alaina Talks Wedding Plans

American Idol alum Lauren Alaina is knee deep in wedding planning, and enjoying every minute of it. The singer recently gave an update about her upcoming wedding, during a recent interview on The Wake Up Call on K Frog. The country singer revealed that her fiancé has been joining her for all of the wedding planning, even though he claims to defer to her choices.
Lauren Alaina Plans For a Budweiser Grooms’ Cake
As she prepares to tie the knot with her fiancé Cameron Arnold, Alaina eagerly shared her wedding plans on Audacy’s K-FROG. With her talent, charisma, and infectious energy, she talked with hosts Kelli “Green” Barajas, and her co-host David Bugenske.
During the interview, Alaina also shared that her groom has requested a very specific element for the wedding festivities: a Budweiser-themed grooms’ cake. The couple also has plans to feature a Budweiser bar at the reception.
In addition to discussing her wedding plans, Alaina talked about her upcoming concert at The Outpost and how she’s been recording new music. The singer also shared that May 14 will be declared “Lauren Alaina Day” in her hometown of Georgia, coinciding with Mother’s Day this year.
While the conversation focused mainly on her upcoming nuptials, Alaina’s journey to fame began on the tenth season of American Idol. The young singer from Rossville, Georgia, auditioned for the show at age 15, where she immediately impressed judges with her soulful vocals and infectious personality.
Despite suffering from vocal cord problems throughout the season, Alaina persevered and ultimately came in second place. Alaina’s performances on the show earned her a legion of fans and catapulted her to fame.
Lauren Alaina Reveals a Potential Dolly Parton Cameo On Her Wedding
Alaina is currently in full swing when it comes to wedding planning. She got engaged to Arnold in November 2021, and since then, she’s been working on making their big day extra special.
Alaina joked that maybe Dolly Parton could make a video for her wedding day, just like she did for Alaina’s induction ceremony. Alaina revealed that she has a venue, a date (which she’s keeping secret for now), and even a dress.
The country singer shared that she hired Bruce Pittman as her wedding planner, so she doesn’t have to worry about anything. Pittman is an expert in the field, and Alaina is thankful to have him by her side. Alaina said that she and Arnold complement each other perfectly, and he’s her best friend in the world.
Alaina’s fans are excited to hear her new music and see her walk down the aisle in her dream wedding. She expresses gratitude towards her fans for providing her with immense support and love and eagerly anticipates creating new memories with her fiancé.
