Alicia Keys Teases Christmas Album Dressed as ‘Santa Baby’ Singer Eartha Kitt

Former The Voice coach Alicia Keys recently channeled her inner Eartha Kitt for this year’s Halloween. Alongside the holiday themed outfit, the multi-Grammy Award winner teased her upcoming Christmas album, Santa Baby.
Alicia Keys Set to Release Santa Baby This November
On October 21, Alicia Keys announced that she recorded her first ever Christmas Album, Santa Baby. This creative work features seven reimagined Christmas classics and four self-composed songs. According to the singer, she wrote the original tracks based on holiday-related emotions and stories.
On social media, Keys reminded her fans of Santa Baby’s upcoming release on November 4 via Alicia Keys Records. The singer’s main costume for last Saturday’s Halloween party was Beerus from Dragon Ball. However, she also dressed up as Eartha Kitt, the original singer of her album title track.
“Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing…Happy Halloween!!” she wrote as caption.
The multi-awarded Grammy winner told fans that Santa Baby is going to be the “perfect holiday soundtrack.” This Christmas album will soon be available in CD and vinyl record formats in multiple music stores. Meanwhile, fans can pre-add the 11-song collection on Apple Music.
She Issues Debut Christmas Single “December Back 2 June”
Ahead of her holiday album release, Keys issued her debut Christmas track “December Back 2 June.” The recording of this song along with the remaining 10 tracks took place during the singer’s highly acclaimed European tour.
“December Back 2 June” is accompanied by a choir of background vocals, singing to the song’s melody. With Keys’ profound delivery of the lyrics, this track becomes a balanced mix of a holiday tune and a love song.
On Instagram, Keys posted a raw video of herself, playfully vibing with the single. In another upload, she described this track to be the “holiday song you didn’t even know you needed.”
Santa Baby follows her eighth studio album, Keys II. With this Christmas album releasing in no time, fans can expect to celebrate the holidays moving to the musician’s new tracks.
