America’s Got Talent season 18 is surely not scarce of gifted singing acts. Kicking off his journey to snatch the show’s winning title, singer-songwriter Mitch Rossell of Nashville, Tennessee is set to grace the show this Tuesday.

America’s Got Talent Shares Mitch Roswell’s Audition Ahead of Tuesday Night’s Episode

On June 6, America’s Got Talent shared Mitch Rossell’s audition early. Within the audition, the country singer performed an insanely impressive original song. He also explained that his dad is his inspiration behind his music, since he introduced him to the music and gifted him a guitar.

Now, he performs country music to remember not only his dad, but his grandparents, who died alongside his father due to a drunk driver. Judges absolutely loved Mitch, his song, and his voice. This was definitely a special audition.

Ahead of AGT, Mitch has already entered the country music scene. His latest song release is titled “Can’t Wait,” which speaks about his desire to be alone with his wife. He also dropped “Son” last December, talking about his relationship with his father.

He Wrote Songs, Opened for Garth Brooks Tour

Singing in front of a big crowd is not unfamiliar for Mitch. In fact, the country musician has had various experiences performing in concerts, most specifically during tours. Mitch has opened 13 shows on Garth Brooks’ stadium tour back in 2022.

“His prolific songwriting and unique artistry have not only won over thousands of monthly listeners across streaming services but also caught the attention of Country music legend, Garth Brooks,” his website bio reads.

Mitch composed “Ask Me How I Know,” a 2017 hit for country star Garth Brooks. Interestingly, this song became Brooks’ first no. 1 after a decade. Furthermore, he wrote three more songs for then artist titled “That’s What Cowboys Do,” “All Day Long” and “Dive Bar.”

“Stay focused on who you are and what story your voice tells!” one follower wrote. “You have been given a gift, get out there and let the world know that country music has not been murdered, it is alive and well in you!!!! Go get em!!”

America’s Got Talent season 18 is now airing every Tuesday on NBC at 8 p.m. ET/PT. This season’s live shows begin on Tuesday, August 22.
