The GWEN Luminary Awards are given annually by the Global Women’s Empowerment Network (GWEN). According to the organization’s website, the event “celebrates individuals who are making a difference in the world through acts of kindness, leadership, mentorship, community building, and human rights activism.”
“WOW EVERYONE!!” Lee wrote on Instagram to announce his win. “I am SO excited to announced I was presented with a GWEN award this past weekend! It was so amazing to have my team, mom, and support around me to receive this!”
Lee went on to thank the organization “for this amazing opportunity.” He teased that he would be sharing a video recapping his experience accepting the award. As shown in the photos he posted, Lee’s mom Tina was by his side as he received the honor.
