‘AGT’ Winner Kodi Lee Receives GWEN Luminary Award

America’s Got Talent Season 14 winner Kodi Lee announced on social media this week that he received a GWEN Luminary Award. The singer shared a few photos from the experience, as he was accompanied by his mom and team.

The GWEN Luminary Awards are given annually by the Global Women’s Empowerment Network (GWEN). According to the organization’s website, the event “celebrates individuals who are making a difference in the world through acts of kindness, leadership, mentorship, community building, and human rights activism.”
“WOW EVERYONE!!” Lee wrote on Instagram to announce his win. “I am SO excited to announced I was presented with a GWEN award this past weekend! It was so amazing to have my team, mom, and support around me to receive this!”
Lee went on to thank the organization “for this amazing opportunity.” He teased that he would be sharing a video recapping his experience accepting the award. As shown in the photos he posted, Lee’s mom Tina was by his side as he received the honor.

Lee Is Performing on All-Stars Next Week
Fans who have been waiting to see Lee take the stage on AGT: All-Stars will finally get to see him perform during next week’s show. It’s the last episode of the competition before the Finals. Will Lee be chosen to move on? We’ll have to wait and see.
Recently, Lee released a new single called “Hello World,” featuring Colin Hay. This is the singer’s second original single. He previously debuted the song “Miracle” last year.
Lee is currently performing in the AGT Superstars Live show in Las Vegas at the Luxor Hotel. He recently posted some fun videos with his fellow performers Duo Transcend, including one in which they dance to “Made You Look” by Meghan Trainor.
