On Saturday, Angelica Hale posted a video on Instagram in which she and her boyfriend can be seen holding hands and wearing pajamas. Her boyfriend kisses her on the cheek before they walk toward the camera and the video cuts to them in their prom attire.

Hale wore a beautiful light purple dress with metallic embellishments, while her boyfriend wore a white jacket and black bowtie. The couple could be seen sharing a kiss and smiling. “PROMMM ‘26,” Hale wrote in the post’s caption, along with two white hearts.

The singer tagged her boyfriend on the post. His name is Hammie Padgett, and although his Instagram account is private, his profile picture is a photo of him and Hale together. Hale later posted another video from prom night, showing off her dress.

Hale Earned Two Golden Buzzers on AGT

Angelica Hale was just 9 years old when she auditioned for Season 12 of America’s Got Talent with a cover of “Rise Up” by Andra Day. She earned a Golden Buzzer from guest judge Chris Hardwick during the Judge Cuts round and later finished the competition in second place behind winner Darci Lynne Farmer.

In 2019, Hale returned to the Got Talent stage for AGT: The Champions, where she earned yet another Golden Buzzer. Her performance of “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten inspired judge Howie Mandel to do the honors, sending her straight to the finale.

Hale has released several singles and EPs in the years since AGT, and she made her Broadway debut Boop! The Musical last year.
