"AGT" 2026 Acro Canine Crew

America’s Got Talent returned on Tuesday night for the Season 21 premiere. During the show, three acts earned the coveted Golden Buzzer, sending them straight into the live shows. Simon Cowell, Terry Crews, and Howie Mandel did the honors.

AGT Season 21 Premieres with Three Golden Buzzers

The first Golden Buzzer of the night went to 14-year-old singer Lai Noelle. The show previewed this audition ahead of the show, revealing that AGT judge Simon Cowell did the honors after Lai performed “Die on This Hill” by Sienne Spiro, showing off a voice beyond her years. As Cowell said before he pressed the Golden Buzzer, “Words aren’t necessary.”

The second Golden Buzzer of the night went to a Canadian group called Acro Canine Crew. At first, it seemed like this was just a regular acrobatic group, who showed off some impressive moves. However, the judges were delighted when the audition suddenly turned into a dog act. The panel gave the group a standing ovation, and AGT host Terry Crews came out from backstage to press the Golden Buzzer. Howie Mandel called it the “best act of the season” so far.

The third Golden Buzzer of the night went to rapper Luke Taleno, who is originally from Cuba. He was in the show’s audience last year and predicted that he would earn a Golden Buzzer for his audition. That prediction turned out to be right, as judge Howie Mandel did the honors after Luke performed an original song called “Seat to Stage.” Mandel called him the “image of authenticity.”

What Other Acts Impressed the Judges?

The three Golden Buzzer acts weren’t the only auditions to impress the AGT judges during Tuesday’s show. A husband-and-wife duo called Tyrone & Margo also wowed the panel with their danger act, which involved knife-throwing an crossbow-shooting. The judges were shocked to learn that Margo had previously been injured performing the act and lost vision in one of her eyes. The duo earned four “yes” votes to move on.

The judges were also impressed by comedian Kev Adams, who is originally from France. He only started learning English a few years ago, and the judges were stunned by how funny he could be in a second language. Kev joked about the differences in American and French culture, including everything from the phrase “hang out” to the expectation of tipping. Howie Mandel called Kev the best comedian they’ve ever seen on the show.

Another talented act from Tuesday’s new AGT episode was Unitree, a performer from China who danced on the stage with robots to “Abra Cadabra” by Lady Gaga. The show previewed this audition ahead of the show. Unitree earned four “yes” votes from the judges to move on in the competition.

The final audition of the night came from CommUNITY ATL Choir, who took the stage to sing “Lovely Day” by Bill Withers. There were more members than the judges initially thought, as some of them even showed up in the audience and walked down the aisles as they sang. The group earned four “yes” votes.

Not All the Acts Were Successful

Not all of the acts from Tuesday’s AGT premiere made it through the audition round. That includes Aggy, an interpretive dancer who performed without music. Simon Cowell asked Aggy to come back and try again with music, which he did. Although Mel B and Simon Cowell enjoyed the bizarre act, Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel weren’t impressed, so Aggy wasn’t able to move on.

Another act that confused the judges was Nolan Ross, who swallowed several flaming hot dogs whole. Then there was Josh Sherman, who showed off some punny musical performances — including Beet-hoven and Ch’apple Roan. He managed to earn eight red buzzers, as the judges gave him a second chance to prove himself and still rejected him.
