Singers Impress the Judges in First AGT Live Show

This week’s show featured quite a few musical acts that impressed the judges. That includes country singer Mitch Rossell, who performed an original song called “All I Need to See.” Judge Sofia Vergara called it “catchy” and “romantic.”

The panel was also wowed by trap choir Sainted, who performed an electrifying medley of songs including “Hot in Here” by Nelly and “Return of the Mack” by Mark Morrison. Simon Cowell said it was like “30 brilliant solo artists all together.”

The night ended with a performance from Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer act Lavender Darcangelo. The singer, who is blind and autistic, delivered a stirring performance of “I Want to Know What Love Is” by Foreigner. Cowell told her she nailed it.

Dog Act Adrian Stoica & Hurricane Are Amazing

One of the standout performances from Tuesday night’s show came from Italian dog trainer Adrian Stoica and his dog Hurricane. They put on an amazing routine in which Adrian tried to work on landscaping while Hurricane caused problems.

What makes this dog act so special is that Hurricane doesn’t need obvious cues from Adrian to perform tricks. She seems to have the routine memorized, and she performs even when Adrian isn’t looking at her.

Howie Mandel called it his “favorite dog act ever on AGT,” while Cowell declared it the best act of the night. Could Adrian and Hurricane be the first dog act to win AGT since Olate Dogs in Season 7? We’ll have to wait and see what America decides.

Two Acts Received a Red Buzzer

The judges didn’t agree on every act to take this stage in this week’s show. Two of the night’s performances received red buzzers — one from Simon Cowell, and one from Howie Mandel.

First, guitarist John Wines took the stage for a rocking performance that had Cowell hitting the buzzer. He later explained that it “just felt strange.” Klum disagreed with him and described John’s act as “inshreddible.”

Later, Ray Wold once again took the stage for a dangerous act with his mother that involved plenty of fire. Mandel hit his buzzer in the middle of the performance, earning boos from the audience. He explained, “If you love your mom, don’t set her on fire.” Cowell, meanwhile, described it as “beautiful.”
