America’s Got Talent Season 21 returned to NBC on Tuesday night for another round of auditions, as AGT host Terry Crews pressed his second Golden Buzzer of the season for an amazing light-up dance group.
AGT Host Terry Crews Presses Golden Buzzer
During Tuesday’s show, a trio called Royal Lasers took the stage, sharing that they met while performing as part of the AGT residency in Las Vegas. They proceeded to put on an incredible light-up dance routine in which they interacted with the screen behind them.
The performance wowed the judges, and host Terry Crews was especially impressed. He stepped out from backstage to press the Golden Buzzer before the panel even had a chance to share their thoughts on the audition, telling the group, “You gave us monsters, you gave us fire, but I’m gonna give you one thing!”
Surprisingly, this week’s show only featured one Golden Buzzer. However, the episode did end with a pair of singers called Neil & Bryan performing a tribute to the Golden Buzzer. Their original song, called “Glitter,” received a red buzzer from judge Mel B. However, Simon Cowell voted “yes” to sending them through, suggesting that they should come back to perform whenever an act earns the honor.
Two magicians took the stage during Tuesday’s new episode to perform card magic. The first, named Kameron Marshall, wowed the AGT judges with his close-up tricks. However, both Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel wanted to see something bigger from him. Still, he ended up with four “yes” votes to move on.
The second magician of the night was Darrell Moten, whose act seemed to take a wrong turn when the card he grabbed at random didn’t match the one Cowell had chosen from the deck. Darrell seemed upset, walking off stage and saying he “really messed up.”
However, the judges were surprised to see a pre-recorded video from Darrell in which he predicted the color and number Cowell chose off the top of his head, then showed up behind the judges’ table. Mandel said it was a great example of making things bigger, like he advised Kameron about. Although Mel B said she was confused by the act, Darrell earned three “yes” votes to move on.
What Other Acts Impressed the Judges?
Several other acts wowed the judges during Tuesday’s new episode of AGT Season 21.That includes Nene Royal, a 16-year-old singer from Thailand who shocked everyone with her performance of “Zombie” by the Cranberries, accompanied by guitar. Mandel called her a rock star. She earned four “yes” votes.
The panel was also wowed by the Jesse White Tumblers, an acrobatic group who defied gravity with their flips. The team has been coached for 67 years by Jesse White, who is 92 years old. Sofia Vergara called their performance the “most exciting thing I’ve seen today.” They earned four “yes” votes to move on.
Meanwhile, an Ethiopian performer named Abresh showed off some incredible rollo bollo skills, as he balanced on several wooden shelves while being raised and lowered on a lift. Although Cowell wasn’t sure about the act, Abresh earned three “yes” votes to move on.
Another impressive act from Tuesday’s show was Daniel Alvarez, a comedian who joked about his experience as a wheelchair user. Cowell was especially tickled by his act, calling him “hilarious.” Mandel told Daniel, “I think people are gonna know your name.” He earned four “yes” votes from the AGT panel.
