‘AGT’ Ranks The Top 15 Most Viral Acts EVER — Who’s #1?

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of AGT, the show aired a special on Tuesday counting down the 15 most viral acts in the show’s history. This was based on how many millions of views the acts received online.

You might be surprised to learn that only four of the acts in the Top 15 ended up winning their respective seasons. (Another act came in first on AGT: The Champions.) Read on to see the jaw-dropping, wacky, and just plain incredible acts that made the list.

This act from Season 8 of AGT has over 111 million views online. He baffled the judges with his levitation trick. They were so impressed, they all voted him through to the next round. Simon commented that he believes some acts are truly magical.

14. Light Balance

This act from Season 12 has over 119 million views. Their energetic, light-up dance routine on a dark stage had the crowd going wild. Host Tyra Banks hit the Golden Buzzer for this group.

13. V. Unbeatable

This acrobatic dance act from Season 14 racked up 120 million views. Judge Howie Mandel said he didn’t know what to expect from them, but “there aren’t words” for what they did in their audition. The group went on to win AGT: The Champions this year.

12. Shin Lim

This magician, who won both Season 13 of AGT as well as AGT: The Champions, has over 121 million views. Heidi Klum said he “did things that we have never seen before.” As Howie said, “The magic was real.”

11. Aaron Crow

This danger act from Season 13 racked up 147 million views. In his audition, he dripped wax onto his eyes before slicing through a pineapple on Howie’s head. “I think he nearly cut Howie’s head off,” Simon said.

10. Tyler Butler-Figueroa

This young violinist who survived cancer competed on Season 14 of the show and received 149 million views online. He played Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger” in his audition, earning the Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell.

9. Celine Tam

This young singer from Season 12 and her sister Dion were named after Celine Dion, so it’s no surprise that she sang “My Heart Will Go On” for her audition. It earned her 159 million views. Howie remarked that she was just as good as Celine Dion.

8. Men With Pans

It’s no surprise that this act racked up 231 million views. This pair of guys appeared naked with only frying pans covering their privates. They made the judges and audience double over with laughter, although they received two red buzzers.

7. Tape Face

This unique mime act from Season 11 of AGT has earned 242 million online views. Howie said he wasn’t looking forward to his audition when he first stepped out, but all the judges ended up being pleasantly surprised.

6. Grace VanderWaal

This Season 11 winner racked up 260 million views with her charming ukulele performance. Howie said he was uncertain about her choice to sing an original song, but he obviously changed his mind, since he hit the Golden Buzzer for her.

5. Angelica Hale

This Season 12 AGT singer earned 296 million views. She performed “Girl on Fire” in the Judge Cuts, earning the Golden Buzzer from guest judge Chris Hardwick. Simon called her “a real fighter.”

4. Courtney Hadwin

This Season 13 contestant was so nervous she almost didn’t make it on stage for her audition. But she went through with it, and racked up 310 million views. Her rockin’ performance of Otis Redding’s “Hard to Handle” earned the Golden Buzzer from Howie.

This young ventriloquist earned 350 million views and ended up winning Season 12 of AGT. She and her puppet Petunia earned the Golden Buzzer from Mel B after her audition.

This dance group from Season 13 went viral with 423 million views. Their acrobatic moves prompted Howie to say, “It didn’t look human.” Simon called them “bloody brilliant.” The group earned the Golden Buzzer from host Tyra Banks.

This Season 14 AGT winner racked up 432 million views. His amazing voice and piano skills, not to mention his story of living with blindness and autism, captured America’s hearts. Simon called him “the most remarkable person.” Kodi received the Golden Buzzer from Gabrielle Union.
