‘AGT’ Golden Buzzer Recipient Zuri Craig of The CraigLewis Band Passes Away at 44 Years Old

America’s Got Talent Finalist Zuri Craig, known as a part of The CraigLewis Band, has sadly passed away. The AGT alum’s family confirmed his passing through a tribute post on his official entertainment page. The sudden passing came as a shock to fans, who are currently wondering what caused such an unfortunate event.
Zuri Craig Passes Away at The Age of 44
Many remember the singer as part of the duo The CraigLewis Band, formed by Zuri Craig and Jeffery Lewis. After their successful audition, The CraigLewis Band earned a Golden Buzzer from guest judge Michael Bublé in the season ten Judge Cuts. Following the Golden Buzzer, the band continually impressed Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Mel B throughout the weeks of the 2015 competition. After placing fifth overall on the show, the band gained a substantial number of fans.
According to Craig’s family, he passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022. The announcement came as an Instagram tribute post, which honors Craig’s life.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the transition of our beloved son, brother and friend,” Craig’s family wrote. “We thank you in advance for your prayers. Please honor our privacy at this unimaginable time of mourning.”
Apart from AGT, Craig has also worked on multiple Tyler Perry films such as A Madea Christmas and Madea Gets a Job. This singer had quite the career, so he will be remembered for generations to come.

The singer’s cause of death remains a mystery as of now. Fans expect a cause of death announcement in the coming months. At this time, Craig’s family remains private about his cause of death.
